The Women’s Professional Football League
and Wilson Announce Partnership

Hurst, TX – The Women’s Professional Football League has another thing in common with the NFL. The league announced today that Wilson has come on board to be the official football used by the WPFL.

The WPFL, which was the nations first women’s professional football league, has teams nation wide that will be snapping Wilson footballs when the league’s 2005 season kicks off in July.

“This partnership is important to us (Wilson). We are currently the official football for the NFL and the NCAA”. Stated Jay Schindler of Wilson. “It’s an honor and an important endeavor to now be the official football of the WPFL” Added Schindler.

“I think this again shows that football affiliates recognize the WPFL as the leader in the business of women’s professional football” Stated WPFL Director of Marketing, Sandi Groth. “Wilson has always been a big supporter of women’s professional sports; the WPFL is extremely pleased with the partnership” Added Groth
